How to Make a Tree Advent

You Will Need:

- Wooden tree advent

- Selection of paint

- Paintbrushes

- Advent numbers

How to Make:

1. Start by removing all the drawers from the advent calendar and dividing them into three piles of eight. 

2. Select four shades of green paint (or mix with black and white to create your own different shades), and decide which you would like to use to paint the main body of the tree. Then decide which you would like to paint the drawers.

3. Paint the drawers inside and out. Leave to dry before applying a second coat of paint to ensure an even coverage.

4. Between doing the first and second coat on the drawers, paint the main body of the tree advent, making sure to do the inside of each area where the drawer will sit. Once the first coast of paint is dry, apply a second coat to ensure even coverage.

5. Once the paint has dried on all the drawers and the main body of the advent, add the numbers centrally; these can be added randomly or in order from top to bottom, or bottom to top—the choice is yours!

6. Your advent is then complete and ready to be filled with treats!
